Golden Oats Breakfast with Spices and Fruits
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 banana
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
- Pinch of turmeric
- Pinch of pumpkin pie spice
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
Allow oats to cook and thicken for at least 3-5 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir and adjust seasonings as desired.
Feel free to add 1 teaspoon sweetener if it helps.
Then top with goodies such as blueberries, blackberries, and tiger figs.
