Golden Oats Breakfast with Spices and Fruits

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • Pinch of pumpkin pie spice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.

  2. Allow oats to cook and thicken for at least 3-5 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat, stir and adjust seasonings as desired.

  4. Feel free to add 1 teaspoon sweetener if it helps.

  5. Then top with goodies such as blueberries, blackberries, and tiger figs.
