Cardamom Oatmeal with Fresh Fruit Toppings
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup rolled or quick oats
- 1 tbsp ground flax seed
- 1/4 tsp cardamom
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 banana, mashed
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
Allow to thicken and cook for 3 minutes.
Remove from stovetop and top with fruit such as mango, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, pumpkin seeds, and a seed and grain mix.
