Vanilla Oats with Banana and Coconut Topping
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 banana
Preparation
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
Allow to cook for 3-5 minutes to thicken and remove from heat.
Serve oats with additional toppings as desired.
For the roasted coconut, preheat oven to 350F and toast coconut flakes for about 3 minutes or until golden around the edges.
