Coconut Oats Made with Almond Milk and Spices

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch cardamom
  • 1-2 tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.

  2. Allow to cook for about 3 to 5 minutes.

  3. Serve as desired, optionally topped with cherries, banana, a mix of seeds, blueberries, and matcha.
