Baked Spaghetti Kebab
Ingredients
- 250 grams spaghetti
Meat mixture
- 500 grams ground meat
- 1 cup chopped parsley
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon mixed spices
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 large chopped onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 medium red bell pepper finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon mixed spices
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 3 cups water

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and prepare a medium-sized rectangular baking dish
In a bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped parsley, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, mixed spices, paprika, cardamom, salt, and pepper, then knead until smooth
Take several strands of spaghetti
Shape the meat mixture into kebab forms around the spaghetti and place in the baking dish
For the sauce, in a saucepan, heat the olive oil, add chopped onion and minced garlic, stir until wilted, then add chopped bell pepper, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, mixed spices, salt, black pepper, oregano, and 3 cups of water, bring to a boil; the sauce should be liquid to allow the spaghetti to absorb and cook in the oven
Pour the sauce over the kebab
Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 30 minutes until the kebab and spaghetti are cooked
