Strawberry Ninho Milk Chocolate Layered Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1.5 packages maisena biscuits (Maria biscuits)
  • Milk (for soaking biscuits)
  • Vanilla extract (for flavoring milk)
  • 2 boxes strawberries

Ninho milk brigadeiro

  • 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cartons heavy cream
  • 12 generous tablespoons Ninho milk powder
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted margarine

Chocolate cream

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted margarine
  • 1 carton heavy cream
  • 150 g dark chocolate

Preparation

Ninho milk brigadeiro

  1. In a saucepan, add the milk powder dissolved in sweetened condensed milk and the margarine

  2. Cook over low heat, stirring until thickened

  3. Remove from heat and add the heavy cream, stirring well

Chocolate cream

  1. Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or in 15-second intervals in the microwave

  2. Mix the melted chocolate with the heavy cream

  3. Place strawberries in a sieve with sugar and let rest for 15 minutes

  4. Reserve some strawberries for decoration

Assembly

  1. Soak biscuits in the vanilla-flavored milk

  2. Place a layer of Ninho Milk Brigadeiro in the serving dish

  3. Add a layer of soaked biscuits

  4. Add another layer of Ninho Milk Brigadeiro

  5. Add another layer of soaked biscuits

  6. Pour the chocolate cream over the biscuit layers

  7. Spread the chopped strawberries over the chocolate cream

  8. Cover with the remaining Ninho Milk Brigadeiro

  9. Sprinkle Ninho milk powder using a sieve

  10. Decorate with reserved whole strawberries
