Vegetarian Steak Cheese Puff Pastry Bake

Ingredients

  • 35g Jus-Rol puff pastry
  • Beaten egg
  • Grated mozzarella
  • Veggie Day Foods beef style strips
  • Bisto gravy
  • 5 counties cheese
  • Mashed potato
  • Red onion
  • Radishes

Preparation

  1. Cut around 1cm from the edge of the puff pastry, not all the way through

  2. Prick the middle with a fork

  3. Brush the outer frame with beaten egg

  4. Add a little grated mozzarella to the pastry

  5. Pan fry the beef style strips

  6. Add the pan-fried beef style strips to the pastry

  7. Add Bisto gravy

  8. Bake for 6 minutes

  9. Top with 5 counties cheese

  10. Bake until the cheese is melty and the pastry is puffed and golden

  11. Serve with mashed potato, red onion, and radishes
