Maultaschen with Broccoli in Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 600 g Maultaschen
  • Oil (a small amount)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Small broccoli florets
  • 1 small onion
  • 100 ml water
  • 350 ml cream (or light cream)
  • Maggi seasoning
  • Nutmeg

Preparation

  1. Fry the Maultaschen with a bit of oil in a pan, season with salt and pepper, then remove and set aside.

  2. In the same pan, add small broccoli florets and one finely diced small onion, add 100 ml water, and cook until the broccoli is al dente and the water has evaporated, then briefly roast.

  3. Add the Maultaschen back to the pan and pour over with 350 ml cream.

  4. Season to taste with Maggi, salt, pepper, and a bit of nutmeg, then simmer briefly until the sauce thickens slightly.

  5. Serve hot immediately and enjoy.
