Paryushan Special Jain Peanut Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mildly roasted peanuts
  • aamchur powder
  • red chili powder
  • cumin seeds
  • dry red chilies soaked in water
  • salt
  • few drops water

Tadka

  • oil
  • mustard seeds
  • asafoetida

Preparation

  1. Take 1/2 cup mildly roasted peanuts in a mixer jar

  2. Add aamchur powder, red chili powder, and cumin seeds

  3. Add dry red chilies that have been soaked in water

  4. Add some salt and a few drops of water, then blend until smooth

  5. In a separate pan, heat some oil for the tadka

  6. Add mustard seeds and asafoetida to the oil

  7. Wait for the mustard seeds to crackle, indicating the tadka is ready

  8. Spread the prepared tadka on top of the blended chutney

Notes

  1. Enjoy this chutney with dosa, paratha, roti, thepla, or khakhra

  2. This is a Paryushan special dish, and Jai Jinendra
