Italian-Style Oven Roasted Lamb

Ingredients

  • 500 g baby lamb meat

Marinade

  • 10 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 10 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil

Seasoning

  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 3 bay leaves

Preparation

  1. Pierce the meat with a fork and mix with the marinade, then marinate for about 30 minutes in the freezer.

  2. Arrange the marinated meat on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil, pour the remaining marinade over it, and sprinkle with the seasoning.

  3. Cover the tray tightly with aluminum foil and bake for about 1 hour at medium heat until cooked and tender.

  4. If the meat is tender, bake again with top heat until dry and golden brown.

  5. Serve with rice, potatoes, or vegetables.
