Baked Potatoes with Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

  • garlic powder
  • paprika powder
  • 7 potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme powder
  • salt, black pepper

Mushroom sauce

  • about 8 mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 3-4 cloves grated garlic
  • thyme powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Wash and dry the potatoes, then prick them with a fork.

  3. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, thyme powder, salt, and black pepper with olive oil.

  4. Coat the potatoes evenly with the oil mixture.

  5. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 45-60 minutes or until tender.

  6. For the mushroom sauce, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.

  7. Add grated garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

  8. Add mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

  9. Stir in thyme powder, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and milk.

  10. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

  11. Serve the mushroom sauce over the baked potatoes.
