Baked Potatoes with Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients
- garlic powder
- paprika powder
- 7 potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme powder
- salt, black pepper
Mushroom sauce
- about 8 mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 3-4 cloves grated garlic
- thyme powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Wash and dry the potatoes, then prick them with a fork.
In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, thyme powder, salt, and black pepper with olive oil.
Coat the potatoes evenly with the oil mixture.
Place the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 45-60 minutes or until tender.
For the mushroom sauce, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add grated garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
Add mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in thyme powder, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and milk.
Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Serve the mushroom sauce over the baked potatoes.
