Cacao Muffins with Jam
Ingredients
Dry
- 1.5 cups flour (buckwheat or choice)
- 1/2 cup cacao powder
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Wet
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup water plus 2 tablespoons additional water
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C
Mix the dry ingredients together.
Mix the wet ingredients.
Combine the dry and wet mixtures, adding more water or milk little by little if needed to avoid a liquid batter.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
Serving
Once the muffins are cool, top them with jam or cut them horizontally and fill with jam.
