Easy Moist Chocolate Banana Brownies
Ingredients
- 3 Bananas
- 300 g dark chocolate
- 250 g butter
- 3 eggs (medium)
- 250 g sugar
- 50 ml neutral oil (e.g. sunflower oil)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 200 g wheat flour (Type 405)
- 30 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius top and bottom heat (convection: 160 degrees).
Grease a 20 cm x 23 cm baking pan with butter and dust with flour.
Peel the bananas and mash with a fork to a fine puree.
Finely chop the dark chocolate and melt it with the butter in a metal bowl over a hot water bath.
Beat the eggs and sugar until foamy, then mix in the melted chocolate mixture and oil.
Stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
Mix the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder in a bowl and sift into the batter.
Mix briefly, then pour into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes.
Let the brownies cool for at least 2 hours.
The recipe yields about 12 chocolate banana brownies.
Store the brownies airtight at room temperature for at least 3 days.
