Kofta Roll with Eggs

Ingredients

  • 1 kg ready-made kofta
  • 1/2 cup fine breadcrumbs
  • 5 hard-boiled eggs

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C and prepare a wide baking tray.

  2. Place the kofta and breadcrumbs in a bowl and mix well.

  3. Peel the eggs.

  4. Place a large piece of aluminum foil in front of you, put the kofta meat on the foil, and press it with your fingertips to form a rectangle about 1 cm thick.

  5. Place the eggs side by side in a line in the middle of the kofta rectangle, then roll the kofta into a roll with the aluminum foil, seal the roll tightly, make several holes in the foil, and place it in the tray.

  6. Put it in the oven for 30-40 minutes until the kofta is cooked.

  7. Remove the roll from the oven and let it sit aside for a few minutes to cool and for the meat fibers to set.

  8. Remove the aluminum foil and cut the kofta roll into slices, then serve it warm or at room temperature.
