Sweet Martabak Made in Teflon Pan
Ingredients
- 250 grams all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons powdered milk
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
- 350 milliliters water
- 2 eggs
Toppings
- Sprinkles as needed
- Grated cheddar cheese as needed
- Condensed milk as needed
Preparation
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, powdered milk, baking powder, and yeast until well combined. Gradually add water, stirring with a whisk until smooth and no lumps remain (strain if necessary). Cover with a cloth and let rest for about 1 hour.
Heat a teflon pan over low heat until very hot. After the resting period, add the beaten eggs and baking soda to the batter and mix well. Pour about 3 tablespoons of batter into the pan (adjust as desired), wait until bubbles form, sprinkle with sugar, cover the pan, and cook until the martabak is done.
Remove from the pan, brush with margarine while hot, add desired toppings, fold the martabak, cut into pieces, and serve.
Notes
Using a 20 cm teflon pan yields 4 to 5 pieces.
