Malaysian Apam Balik Pancake
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup liquid milk
- 1.5 cups water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 egg
- A little yellow food coloring
Toppings
- 1.5 cups crushed peanuts
- 1 can cream corn
- Sugar to taste
Preparation
Mix all the batter ingredients together and let rest for 1 hour. Ensure the batter is not too thick and test a small piece first.
Cook on a non-stick pan until crispy.
Sprinkle with peanuts, sugar, and cream corn.
Serve immediately.
