Beer-Braised Chicken Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 onions
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 100g leek
  • 1 liter of Patagonia Lager beer
  • Honey to taste
  • Salt
  • Oregano
  • Ground chili

Preparation

  1. Chop the vegetables and chicken into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Heat a large disc or pan over high heat until very hot.

  3. Add the chicken and cook until browned on all sides.

  4. Stir in the vegetables and sauté until they begin to soften.

  5. Pour in the beer, honey, salt, oregano, and ground chili.

  6. Reduce heat and simmer until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce reduces slightly.

  7. Serve the mixture in sandwich rolls or bread.
