Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 6 medjool dates
  • 1/4 cup creamy almond butter
  • 1/2 cup @drinkorgain chocolate peanut butter protein powder
  • 3-4 tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. In a food processor, blend oats until it resembles a fine flour

  2. Add dates, almond butter, and protein powder

  3. Blend until thoroughly combined

  4. The mixture will seem dry, so at this point add a tablespoon of water at a time until a soft dough forms and it starts to come together

  5. Add chocolate chips and blitz until combined

  6. Press dough into a parchment-lined loaf pan

  7. Optionally, press extra chocolate chips on top

  8. Freeze for 10 minutes until firm

  9. Cut into bars and enjoy

  10. Store in an airtight container in the freezer
