Chai Tea Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats (feel free to use more as desired)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tea chai tea bag
  • splash of vanilla (optional)
  • pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Add oats, milk, chia seeds and vanilla in a sauce pan and stir together

  2. Add tea bag and bring oats up to a low simmer

  3. Allow to cook and thicken for about 5-8 minutes

  4. Remove tea bag and squeeze any excess into the pot then discard

  5. Add a pinch of salt and stir oats to combine

  6. Serve and enjoy
