Chocolate and Almond Breakfast Porridge

Ingredients

  • 40g oats
  • 170ml coconut milk
  • 1/2 banana chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped almonds
  • 1 tbsp cacao
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup

Toppings

  • 1/2 banana
  • Chopped almonds
  • Cacao nibs

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, combine oats, coconut milk, chopped banana, chopped almonds, cacao, and agave syrup. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thickened and oats are soft, about 5-7 minutes

  2. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then serve in a bowl and add the toppings: sliced banana, chopped almonds, and cacao nibs
