Delicious Jackfruit Tacos with Simple Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 large can of jackfruit
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp liquid aminos or tamari
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning
  • 8-10 corn tortillas
  • 1 small purple onion
  • cilantro
  • salsa of choice
  • lime wedges

Preparation

  1. Open can of jackfruit, drain and rinse. Shred jackfruit and dry with paper towels.

  2. Turn pan on medium/high heat, add canola oil and garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds.

  3. Add jackfruit to the pan along with some taco seasoning and liquid aminos or tamari. Sauté for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Add little more oil if you need to.

  4. Warm up tortillas, dice onions and assemble your tacos.
