Easy Tomato Tart with Summer Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 roll of puff pastry
  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • A few basil leaves

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 185°C.

  2. Unroll the pastry sheet and, leaving it on its parchment, prick the base all over with a fork to prevent the pastry from rising.

  3. Spread the mustard evenly over the pastry.

  4. Arrange the sliced tomatoes in concentric circles.

  5. Season well, drizzle with olive oil, and add the basil leaves.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes until the pastry is puffed up and golden brown.

  7. Serve hot or cold.

Notes

  1. This tomato tart is almost too easy, crispy, tangy, and totally delicious, perfect for summer.
