Indonesian Stir-Fried Jengkol with Green Chili
Ingredients
- 300g boiled and sliced jengkol
- A handful of Medan anchovies
- 300g ground green chilies
- 5 ground shallots
- Sugar
- Salt
- Mushroom stock
- Oil
Preparation
Fry the anchovies until crispy, then remove and set aside.
Fry the jengkol briefly, then remove and set aside.
Sauté the ground chilies and shallots until cooked. Add sugar, salt, and mushroom stock, and stir. Add the jengkol and anchovies, cook briefly, then remove and serve.
