Stuffed Meat Roll with Eggs

Ingredients

  • 1 kilogram ground meat
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon mixed spices
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

Filling

  • 5 large boiled eggs

For frying

  • 2 tablespoons corn oil

Preparation

  1. In a deep bowl, place the meat, onion, parsley, egg, cinnamon, cardamom, spices, salt, black pepper, and breadcrumbs. Mix the meat well to combine with the ingredients.

  2. Take a piece of parchment paper and place it on the table. Place the meat mixture on the parchment and spread it to a thickness of 1 centimeter. Arrange the eggs in a row, roll the meat to cover the eggs and form a cylinder.

  3. Wrap the cylinder tightly in plastic wrap and tie the ends.

  4. Bring a large pot and put enough water to cover the cylinder. Add some salt, a piece of bay leaf, and some cardamom pods.

  5. Place the pot on medium heat for an hour until the meat is cooked.

  6. Remove the meat roll from the water and let it cool completely.

  7. In a wide skillet, heat the oil and brown the meat roll on all sides until golden.

  8. On a serving plate, place the meat roast, slice it, and sprinkle with parsley.
