Creamy Cinnamon Ginger Quinoa Porridge

Ingredients

  • red quinoa
  • white quinoa
  • black quinoa
  • unsweetened soya milk
  • cinnamon
  • ginger

Toppings

  • chopped figs
  • dates
  • prunes
  • cream (Flora)
  • plain soya yoghurt

Preparation

  1. Rinse the quinoa under cold water to remove any bitterness

  2. In a pot, combine the quinoa, unsweetened soya milk, cinnamon, and ginger. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the quinoa is soft and the mixture is creamy

  3. Once cooked, remove from heat and let it cool slightly if desired

  4. Top the porridge with chopped figs, dates, prunes, a dash of cream, and plain soya yoghurt before serving
