Decadent Vegan Chocolate Bark
Ingredients
- 1 cup Non-dairy Chocolate Chips or Dutch Chocolate Powder or Cacao powder
- 1/3 cup Roasted Almonds or any Nuts you prefer
- 1/4 cup Maple syrup
- 2 tbsp Almond butter
- 1/2 tsp Peppermint essence (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Preparation
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt the chocolate by placing it in a bowl over a pot with simmering water. Ensure the water is not boiling and keep the heat low. Stir until smooth.
Remove from heat and add maple syrup, peppermint extract, and a pinch of salt, then mix well.
Transfer the mixture to the parchment paper and spread it as thinly as possible. Sprinkle roasted almonds on top and press some into the bark.
Place in the refrigerator until completely cool and firm, then cut into desired pieces.
You can add any other toppings you prefer.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
