Gnocchi and Sausage Stuffed Bun with Chips and Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 oat topped deli roll
  • 40g grated mozzarella
  • 125g potato gnocchi
  • Crispy veggie bacon pieces
  • 0.5 Lincolnshire sausage, sliced
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion salt
  • Waffle or game chips
  • Salad ingredients

Preparation

  1. Cut a rectangle in the top of the bun and remove it, then press the middle down to create a well.

  2. Add 20g of grated mozzarella into the well.

  3. Part cook the potato gnocchi by boiling until almost done

  4. Fry the partially cooked gnocchi with crispy veggie bacon pieces, sliced Lincolnshire sausage, garlic powder, and onion salt.

  5. Fill the bun with the mixture and top with the remaining 20g of grated mozzarella.

  6. Bake in the oven at 220°C for about 7 minutes.

  1. Cook waffle or game chips in an air fryer

  2. Prepare a simple salad
