Homemade Crunchy Peanut Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw unsalted peanuts
  • 1/4 tsp himalayan salt
  • ground cinnamon (optional)
  • i don’t add sweetener but you can! a few options: honey
  • maple syrup
  • or monk fruit (optional)

Preparation

  1. You can roast your peanuts or leave them unroasted - if you do roast preheat your oven at 325F and spread the peanuts out evenly

  2. Toast for 8-10 minutes, mixing halfway

  3. Remove and allow to cool

  4. Add the roasted (or unroasted) nuts to a high-powered blender (I use a vitamix but you can use a food processor) put on high until smooth and creamy - this will take a few minutes

  5. Now add in the salt, cinnamon, and one of the sweetener options if you please

  6. Scoop into a sealable jar and store in the fridge for 3-4 weeks
