Homemade Crunchy Peanut Butter
Ingredients
- 2 cups raw unsalted peanuts
- 1/4 tsp himalayan salt
- ground cinnamon (optional)
- i don’t add sweetener but you can! a few options: honey
- maple syrup
- or monk fruit (optional)
Preparation
You can roast your peanuts or leave them unroasted - if you do roast preheat your oven at 325F and spread the peanuts out evenly
Toast for 8-10 minutes, mixing halfway
Remove and allow to cool
Add the roasted (or unroasted) nuts to a high-powered blender (I use a vitamix but you can use a food processor) put on high until smooth and creamy - this will take a few minutes
Now add in the salt, cinnamon, and one of the sweetener options if you please
Scoop into a sealable jar and store in the fridge for 3-4 weeks
