Maple Pecan Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • maple pecan mixture:
  • 1/4 cup pecans
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped dates
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Mix all of the cinnamon roll ingredients together and let it chill 30 minutes

  2. Then put parchment paper on a flat surface

  3. Add extra oat flour to make sure the dough doesn’t stick

  4. Roll out the dough, about 1/4 inch thick. I used a rolling pin but I greased it first so the dough didn’t stick. Meaning I just sprayed a little non stick spray on it

  5. Try to roll it into a rectangle as much as possible

  6. Then in a food processor, chop and mix the maple pecan mixture

  7. Sprinkle the mixture on the dough, leaving a little room on the edges

  8. Slice the dough longways into about 5 slices

  9. Then roll them into cinnamon rolls

  10. Add to a small greased baking dish

  11. I added some more pecans on top

  12. Bake at 350F for 20 mins

  13. Add 2 tbsp melted coconut butter + 2 tbsp maple syrup melted and mixed together on top. Oh and sprinkle a little extra cinnamon

  14. Makes 5-6 small cinnamon rolls
