Chocolate Almond Butter Oatmeal Bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup pitted medjool dates
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup almond butter or peanut butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup oat flour
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
In a food processor combine dates, almond butter, and coconut oil.
Process to form a sticky paste.
Add the oats, oat flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Process to combine.
Press into a greased or lined baking pan (8×5 inches).
Bake for 20-22 minutes at 350ºF.
Cool, then top with melted chocolate and chill for at least 1-2 hours.
Sprinkle with flaky salt, slice, and enjoy!
