Flavorful Brussels Sprouts Recipes

Ingredients

Miso Butter Roast Sprouts

  • 500g Brussels sprouts
  • Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons white miso paste
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Stuffed Spiced Sprouts

  • 500g Brussels sprouts
  • Stuffing: 60g dry roasted peanuts, 1 tablespoon chickpea flour, 1 tablespoon rapeseed oil, 1 tsp minced garlic, ginger, turmeric, ground coriander, ground cumin, salt
  • Rapeseed oil

Preparation

Miso Butter Roast Sprouts

  1. Wash and trim the ends of the sprouts.

  2. Brush the sprouts with olive oil and roast them in the oven at 180°C for about 20-25 minutes, until cooked.

  3. Make the miso butter by melting the butter in the microwave and stirring in the miso paste.

  4. Drizzle the miso butter over the roasted sprouts and serve immediately.

Stuffed Spiced Sprouts

  1. Wash and trim the ends of the sprouts. Cut a cross in the top of each sprout to make slits for stuffing.

  2. In a mini chopper/blender, combine all stuffing ingredients to make a paste (add water if needed).

  3. Stuff each sprout with the prepared stuffing.

  4. Brush each stuffed sprout with oil and bake them in an ovenproof dish at 180°C for about 20-25 minutes, until cooked through.
