Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Lemon Zest and Parmesan

Ingredients

  • Brussels sprouts
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • lemon zest

Optional

  • grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Trim Brussels sprouts and cut large ones in half

  3. Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper

  4. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet

  5. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes until tender and browned

  6. Toss with lemon zest after roasting

  7. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan if desired
