Homemade Nutella Tart with Almonds
Ingredients
- 250g butter
- 60g powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 450g all-purpose flour
Filling
- Nutella (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp almond flavor (optional)
Preparation
Beat the butter and sugar together until well combined, but not fluffy.
Add the egg yolk.
Add the flour and knead until a dough forms.
Press the dough into tart molds and arrange on a baking sheet.
Pipe Nutella onto the tarts as desired, then sprinkle with chopped toasted almonds.
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Tips
For a crispier crust, bake the tart shells first for 5 minutes, then add Nutella and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
Sift the flour before using for a lighter texture.
If not skilled with tart molds, shape the dough into rounds and make a hole in the center.
