Homemade Nutella Tart with Almonds

Ingredients

  • 250g butter
  • 60g powdered sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 450g all-purpose flour

Filling

  • Nutella (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp almond flavor (optional)

Preparation

  1. Beat the butter and sugar together until well combined, but not fluffy.

  2. Add the egg yolk.

  3. Add the flour and knead until a dough forms.

  4. Press the dough into tart molds and arrange on a baking sheet.

  5. Pipe Nutella onto the tarts as desired, then sprinkle with chopped toasted almonds.

  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes.

Tips

  1. For a crispier crust, bake the tart shells first for 5 minutes, then add Nutella and bake for another 10-15 minutes.

  2. Sift the flour before using for a lighter texture.

  3. If not skilled with tart molds, shape the dough into rounds and make a hole in the center.
