Brazilian Ninho Milk Powder Doughnuts with Nutella Filling
Ingredients
Dough
- 30 grams fresh yeast (or 10 grams dry yeast)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 4 tablespoons milk powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 6 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
Assembly
- 3 tablespoons milk powder
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- Milk, for dipping
- Nutella, for filling
Preparation
Dough
Dissolve the yeast, sugar, and a little warm water in a bowl
Add the remaining ingredients except the flour and mix until homogeneous
Gradually add the flour, stirring until the dough becomes thick
Place the dough on a surface, add more flour as needed, and knead until smooth, homogeneous, and no longer sticks to the hands
Let rest for 1 hour
Shape into 12 balls
Bake in a non-stick pan for 25 minutes at 200Β°C
Assembly
Let the baked doughnuts cool completely
Moisten the doughnuts in milk and then in the milk powder and sugar mixture
Cut each doughnut in half and fill with Nutella
