Traditional Brazilian PaΓ§oca Peanut Cake
Ingredients
Batter
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup crushed paΓ§oca
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Topping
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 200 g dulce de leche
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 crushed paΓ§ocas
- 3 crushed paΓ§ocas for garnish
Preparation
Batter
Blend all batter ingredients in a blender
Pour into a greased and floured pan using a paper towel to grease the pan
Bake in a preheated medium oven for about 40 minutes or until golden
Once cooled, unmold the cake
Topping
Cook topping ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly, until reaching a soft fudge-like consistency
Pour over the cake and sprinkle with 3 crushed paΓ§ocas
