Brazilian Yogurt Cake with Milk Powder Cream

Ingredients

Cake

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup natural yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Cream

  • 500 ml milk
  • 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup milk powder
  • 1 carton heavy cream

Preparation

Cake

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender, adding the baking powder at the end

  2. Pour the batter into a greased and floured pan

  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 200Β°C for 40 minutes

Cream

  1. In a saucepan, mix the milk, cornstarch, and milk powder until dissolved

  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk and cook over medium heat until thickened

  3. Remove from heat, add the heavy cream, mix until incorporated, and continue stirring until cooled for a smooth topping
