Lazy Girl Double Chocolate Donuts
Ingredients
- 1 box of Simple Mills grain free chocolate muffin and cake mix
- 1/4 cup cashew or almond butter
- 2 flax eggs (2 tablespoons ground flax seeds and 6 tablespoons water)
- 1/2 cup almond milk
Icing
- 1/2 cup Lakanto monk fruit sweetener
- 1 tablespoon cacao powder
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2-3 tablespoons almond milk
Preparation
Prepare flax eggs by mixing 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds with 6 tablespoons water and refrigerating for 10 minutes to thicken.
Mix all donut ingredients in a bowl.
Pour the mixture into a donut tray.
Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
Allow the donuts to cool before icing.
For the icing, mix all icing ingredients.
Refrigerate the icing for 10 minutes to thicken.
