Chocolate Banana Bread Protein Donuts

Ingredients

  • 2 flax eggs
  • 2 very ripe mashed bananas
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp almond milk
  • 1/2 cup green banana flour (sub: with all purpose GF baking flour or chickpea flour)
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 scoops plant protein
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder (I used @yoursuperfoods )
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Sea salt (for sprinkling)
  • 2 squares @hukitchen salted chocolate, chopped

Optional

  • 1 tbsp @terrasoul Lucuma
  • 1 scoop @vitalproteins collagen

Preparation

  1. Purée or mash bananas well.

  2. Mix with flax eggs, vanilla, coconut oil and almond milk.

  3. Stir in flours, coconut sugar, cacao, protein, cinnamon, baking soda and powder, and optionals.

  4. Mix until batter forms.

  5. Spoon into a lightly oiled donut pan until holders are about 1/2 full.

  6. Sprinkle with sea salt and chopped chocolate.

  7. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
