Spicy Indian Corn and Potato Tikkis

Ingredients

  • 3 potatoes
  • Corn kernels from 2 cobs
  • 2 bird eye chillis
  • 1.5 tablespoons ginger
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 3 teaspoons chaat masala
  • 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder
  • 2 tablespoons chickpea flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Preparation

  1. Mix together all the listed ingredients.

  2. Shape into patties and brown outsides in olive oil, then roast in a preheated oven at 180C for 20 minutes.

Serving ideas

  1. Serve with date and peanut chutney or Indian tomato ketchup for enhanced flavor.
