Winter Comfort Food I Would Say ( Pea Soygranual Patties )

Ingredients

  • peas - 1 cup boiled ( frozen or fresh ) mashed
  • soya granules - 1/2 cup
  • potatoes - 2 medium size ( boiled )
  • ginger grated - 1tsp
  • salt as per your taste
  • green chilli - 1 ( optional)
  • chickpea flour - 2tbsp
  • cumin powder- 1tsp
  • corriander leaves - 3/4 cup
  • garam masala - 3/4 tsp
  • black pepper- 1/4 tsp
  • seasame seeds 2tbsp
  • oil - for shallow frying

Preparation

  1. Bread crumbs - 3 /4 cup ( optional ) ? METHOD ✒ Soak Soy granules in water for atleast 10 to 15 minutes until soy granules gets completely soft

  2. Strain the soya granules and discard the water

  3. Make sure you squeeze out excess water

  4. Othewise you won't be able to form a nice pattie

  5. Take a Bowl , Grate potatoes so that there are no lumps left

  6. Add your boiled mashed peas , soy Granuals adding salt , garam masala, cumin powder, grated ginger , coriander leaves, black pepper powder, chickpea flour , and mix the mixture until well combined

  7. Shape the mixture into patties of the size you desire

  8. You can roll them into bread crumbs for extra crunch but its optional

  9. In a nonstick Saute pan , heat oil over medium - heat

  10. When hot , add the patties shallow fry them until golden browned on each side, about 2 to 3 minutes

  11. Serve them with mint chutney , tomato sauce
