Spicy Malaysian Chili Sambal
Ingredients
- green bird's eye chili
- red bird's eye chili
- large chili
- red onion
- garlic
- sugar
- salt
- coarsely pounded anchovies
Preparation
Coarsely grind the ingredients marked with an asterisk.
Heat oil and sauté the ground ingredients.
Add a little oil, then add sugar, salt, and coarsely pounded anchovies.
Continue sautéing until the sambal color turns dark.
Cook for about 5 minutes until done.

This recipe does not use water.
