Stir-Fried Taro Leaves with Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches taro leaves
  • 150g shrimp
  • Oyster sauce to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking oil as needed

Spice paste

  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 5 curly chilies

Preparation

  1. Wash and trim the taro leaves like spinach, then rinse and drain

  2. Clean the shrimp by slitting the back and removing the vein

  3. Stir-fry the spice paste until fragrant, then add shrimp and stir until color changes, add taro leaves, oyster sauce, a little salt and sugar

  4. Stir-fry quickly, add a little water, cook for about 5 minutes on high heat, taste and adjust seasoning, then remove from heat and serve
