Sukha Bhel Indian Street Snack
Ingredients
Sukha chutney
- 1/2 cup roasted chana
- a big bunch of coriander leaves
- 3-4 green chilies
- a small piece of ginger
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
- a pinch of asafoetida
- few curry leaves
- salt
Bhel assembly
- puffed rice
- few crushed kadak puri
- masala roasted peanuts
- masala roasted chana
- chopped tomatoes
- chopped onions
- chopped boiled potatoes
- some chopped coriander leaves
- a big spoon of sukha chutney
- freshly squeezed lemon juice
Preparation
Making chutney
Blend all the chutney ingredients in a mixer on pulse mode
Preparing roasted nuts
In a pan, take a little oil and roast peanuts and chana one by one
At the end, add salt and red chili powder
Assembling bhel
Mix puffed rice, crushed kadak puri, masala roasted peanuts, masala roasted chana, chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, chopped boiled potatoes, some chopped coriander leaves, a big spoon of sukha chutney, and freshly squeezed lemon juice
Serve it like you get on the street in newspaper
