Sweet and Salty Buttery Asparagus

Ingredients

  • vegan butter
  • garlic
  • chili
  • fennel seeds
  • bay leaves
  • turmeric
  • asparagus
  • brown sugar
  • salt

Preparation

  1. In a hot pan, add vegan butter, garlic, chili, fennel seeds and bay leaves. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

  2. Add turmeric. Cook for another 5 minutes.

  3. Add asparagus. Cook 10 minutes.

  4. Add brown sugar and salt - mix well. Wait for sugar to melt and turn off heat.

  5. Make sure asparagus is nicely covered with sauce.

  6. Enjoy
