Sweet and Salty Buttery Asparagus
Ingredients
- vegan butter
- garlic
- chili
- fennel seeds
- bay leaves
- turmeric
- asparagus
- brown sugar
- salt
Preparation
In a hot pan, add vegan butter, garlic, chili, fennel seeds and bay leaves. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
Add turmeric. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Add asparagus. Cook 10 minutes.
Add brown sugar and salt - mix well. Wait for sugar to melt and turn off heat.
Make sure asparagus is nicely covered with sauce.
