Vanilla Chai Porridge with Dark Chocolate Buttons

Ingredients

  • 1 vanilla chai tea bag
  • 250 ml boiled water
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 2 tablespoons coconut yoghurt
  • Almond milk (optional, as needed)
  • Almond butter
  • Banana (for hot maple banana)
  • Apple
  • Cacao nibs
  • Giant dark chocolate buttons

Preparation

  1. Make a hot strong cup of vanilla chai tea using the tea bag and 250 ml boiled water. Tip it into a bowl, add 1/2 cup oats, stir, cover, and leave overnight.

  2. In the morning, transfer the mixture to a pan, heat it, add 2 tablespoons of coconut yoghurt, and stir until cooked. Add a splash of almond milk if needed.

  3. Spoon the porridge into a bowl, add almond butter, hot maple banana, sliced apple, cacao nibs, and top with a giant dark chocolate button.
