Warm Cinnamon Apple Blueberry Protein Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup birch benders paleo mix
  • 1 scoop clean chocolate plant protein
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 red delicious apple
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • cinnamon

Toppings

  • raw almond butter
  • miyoko's creamery vegan coconut butter
  • coconut flakes
  • local pure maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Mix the waffle mix with water and oil as directed on the package, then add the protein powder and blueberries.

  2. Oil a waffle maker and spoon the mixture into it.

  3. While the waffles are cooking, heat coconut oil in a skillet, add chopped apple and cinnamon, and toss for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Top the waffles with the sautéed apples, raw almond butter, vegan coconut butter, coconut flakes, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
