Warm Cinnamon Apple Blueberry Protein Waffles
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup birch benders paleo mix
- 1 scoop clean chocolate plant protein
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1/4 red delicious apple
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- cinnamon
Toppings
- raw almond butter
- miyoko's creamery vegan coconut butter
- coconut flakes
- local pure maple syrup
Preparation
Mix the waffle mix with water and oil as directed on the package, then add the protein powder and blueberries.
Oil a waffle maker and spoon the mixture into it.
While the waffles are cooking, heat coconut oil in a skillet, add chopped apple and cinnamon, and toss for 2-3 minutes.
Top the waffles with the sautéed apples, raw almond butter, vegan coconut butter, coconut flakes, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
