Baked French Toast for One
Ingredients
- 2 slices of sourdough bread
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons coconut sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
Preparation
Cut the sourdough bread into cubes.
Mix together the egg, egg white, cinnamon, vanilla, coconut sugar, and almond milk.
Soak the bread cubes in the mixture.
Transfer the soaked bread to a ramekin or small baking dish.
Bake at 400°F for 35-40 minutes.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Takes about 5 minutes to prepare ingredients and 35 minutes to bake.
Baking is easier than skillet method with less mess.
