Easy Homemade Beet Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 1 large or 2 small cooked beets
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup raw tahini

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor or high speed blender and process until creamy and smooth.

  2. Serve with raw veggies, crackers or pita bread.

  3. For a nut and seed free version, substitute tahini with extra virgin olive oil.
