Smashed Avocado on Sourdough Toast
Ingredients
- Hass avocados
- Generous squeeze of lemon
- Fresh coriander
- Sprinkle of flaky sea salt
- Housemade dukkah
- Sourdough bread from Woodlands Bakery
- Slivers of New Zealand onion
- Crumbs of tangy feta cheese
Preparation
Mash the Hass avocados by hand until they reach a velvety consistency
Add a generous squeeze of lemon, fresh coriander, a sprinkle of flaky sea salt, and housemade dukkah to the mashed avocados and mix well
Spread the smashed avocado mixture thickly onto slices of sourdough bread
Garnish with slivers of New Zealand onion and crumbs of tangy feta cheese
Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor
