Vegan Hot Dogs with Cranberry Salsa
Ingredients
- 4 vegan sausages
- 4 Love Baker Street hot dog buns
Cranberry salsa
- 200g cranberries
- Sugar to taste
- 2 spring onions
- 1 small green chilli
- Handful fresh coriander
- Zest of half an orange
- 1-2 tbsp orange juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Heat the cranberries in boiling water until they start to pop and soften, then drain immediately and transfer to a mixing bowl.
Lightly mash the cranberries until they break down, opting for a smoother or chunkier texture as desired.
Stir in the remaining ingredients, adjusting orange juice, sugar, salt, and pepper to taste.
Allow the salsa to sit for at least half an hour to develop the flavors.
Cook the vegan sausages according to the packet instructions.
Serve the sausages in the hot dog buns with the cranberry salsa.
